Confusing Belongingness !!!

Writing a blog again.. After a long time though coz of my hectic sched. for the past one month.  Amidst all the noises about one's origin and belongingness to a state or a city, I was contemplating about my roots. By origin I am a Palakkad Iyer, which is a Tamil community residing in north Malabar region of Kerala. So by virtue of that I speak a Tamil with a flavor of Malayalam words. So the food habits etc. are a confluence of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Kerala never objected to our belonging and never criticized our roots to Kerala. So I am related to Tamil Nadu & Kerala.  I was born in Jamshedpur, presently Jharkhand but was Bihar in 1984. So by that I belong to two more states. I was brought up in a small town Chakradharpur, an hour away frm Jamshedpur. Soon we shifted to Bilaspur, a town in Madhya Pradesh which is now part of Chattissgarh. So again I claim my belongingness to two more states. I did my Master's degree from Pune, MAHARASHTRA, did my internship in Bangalore, Karnataka and  I am working in Mumbai, MAHARASHTRA. But I am not able to validate my belongingness to this place due to the Goonernance (Goons' Governance).
I am proud of my belongingness to all the states mentioned and would certainly be proud of this state which leveraged one of my important stages of eduction and also supporting my livelihood.
The point which I am trying to make is there is a serious lack of identity about the people in this country but one Identity ECLIPSES all the other ones and i.e. we all are INDIANS. This is the biggest IDENTITY for anyone and one must be proud of that. So lets hope that better sense prevails on the Goons of this city who are deliberating some irrelevant issues and digressing from many important issues like price rise, law n order problem etc.
I conclude this by saying that I AM PROUD TO BE INDIAN AND ALSO PROUD OF EVERY STATE WHICH HAS CONTRIBUTED IN MAKING ME WHAT I AM TODAY.....

It's an interesting topic, but, I guess it's the story of almost every Indian...
Moreover, you r always confused about one or the other thing, there's nothing new in it... :P
